BETHESDA, Md. -- Astris AI, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin, announced the launch of its Astris AI for Government initiative.

The initiative is designed to advanced AI across high-assurance applications. Astris AI for Government provides a turnkey AI platform that enables government agencies to build, deploy and sustain AI.

Potential applications include the Genesis Mission, energy and critical infrastructure protection, and advanced manufacturing and supply chain optimization across the Federal government.

Lockheed Martin notes that Astris AI for Government will enable access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's U.S. network in secured and unsecured regions, open-source Meta AI models, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, and related capabilities.

LOS ANGELES, Ca. -- Strategic Development Fund announced the signing of an initial partnership and investment agreement with Machina Labs, following discussions finalized at the Dubai Airshow 2025.

This collaboration between the parties establishes a framework to work towards creating a joint venture focusing on the production of advanced metal structures in the region using Machina Labs’ software-defined factory technology.

This agreement is reinforced by an initial investment with additional funding by SDF that may reach up to AED 125 million (approximately USD 35 million) as both companies evaluate opportunities to deploy Machina Labs’ manufacturing capabilities in the UAE and region. SDF and Machina Labs will assess and address strategic requirements across priority sectors that include aerospace, defense, mobility, and other key industries.

 
LOCKHEED MARTIN AWARDED SPY-7 RADAR CONTRACT

WASHINGTON - Lockheed Martin, Rotary and Mission Systems, Moorestown, New Jersey, is awarded a $104.6 million cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost type modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-23-C-5101) for the production of the Foreign Military Sale (FMS) portions unit of the Solid-State SPY ASEA Radar (SPY-7). This contract involves FMS to the government of Canada.

Work is expected to be completed by January 2032. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
